Former Worthington Christian coach pleads guilty in '90s sex case

The former soccer coach who was arrested at Worthington Christian High School because of charges that he sexually assaulted a student Wisconsin pleaded guilty today. Jason Crary, 36, of 61 E. Broadway Ave. in Westerville, was charged in Wisconsin Circuit Court, Milwaukee County, with four felony counts of sexual assault by a school staff member. The assault was said to have happened in the late 1990s, when Crary taught and coached soccer at Heritage Christian High School in Milwaukee. He was arrested at Worthington Christian, where he coached the varsity girl’s soccer team and taught English, in October. He was suspended with pay but resigned from the school on Jan. 17, school officials said. Crary is scheduled to be sentenced in April.
